Yes, you may bring a companion(s), but prior reservation is required and has a cost. The companion can be in the boat at all times with the other crew.

Worst experience... they promise the bioluminescent experience in their advertisement but they don’t even utter a word about it on the trip. It’s money waste as the other marine life is best viewed only during daytime... all you want to see at night is the glowing sea waters which you don’t get to experience. Disappointing especially as I know how that bioluminescent waters look like from my Colombia visit

Water was rough and the crew seemed to be in a rush to get in and out, not really allowing time or space to explore different areas.
